About the Role
JAA Machinery is hiring an Accountant to manage financial operations, bookkeeping, and reporting for its trading business. The ideal candidate should be detail-oriented, disciplined, and experienced in handling import/export or trading company accounts.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain day-to-day accounting records and financial transactions.
- Prepare ledgers, reconciliations, and monthly financial reports.
- Manage invoices, vendor payments, and receivables.
- Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and cost analysis.
- Ensure compliance with tax regulations and company policies.
- Support management in financial decision-making with accurate data.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce.
- 1–3 years of accounting experience (trading/import/export industry preferred).
- Strong knowledge of bookkeeping, taxation, and financial reporting.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software (QuickBooks, Zoho, etc. a plus).
- Attention to detail, time management, and organizational skills.
